Doe Meadow, a tiny house farm stay

Doe Meadow is my newest custom designed tiny house nestled along the drive to my family farm. Sharing my little slice of heaven with guests is something I have found great joy in. Rural tourism is my passion, & all the farm animals are anxiously awaiting your visit- treats in tow- of course! Secluded yet only 10 mins from town. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after the first 2 ppl, incl. visitors. 3 night minimum w/ Fri or Sat. 2 night min. for Sun-Thurs. Msg Tim for larger groups & events. Closed for winter.

LHOTP (Lil House On The Prairie)

Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. Behaved dogs & responsible owners welcome!

Walk everywhere in downtown Freeport.

Downtown Freeport, walking distance to movies, bars, restaurants. Some of the summer activities include concert on the square once a month, market every Saturday. The largest car show with 1000 old cars, the air show. If you like to walk or ride a bike there’s Jane Adam’s trail. Krape park is beautiful with many trails on the river where you can rent kayaks. The kitchen is apartment sized but boasts a counter top induction cook top, oven, microwave, Keurig,and refrigerator.

Step into a restored 1875 Victorian cottage just a short walk from downtown Oregon, IL. Thoughtfully decorated to create a warm, inviting escape with vintage charm. Relax on the porch, explore nearby nature, or enjoy local restaurants, a brewery, shops, and scenic views. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, small groups, and those visiting for work or longer stays near Woods, Etnyre, the Byron plant, and KSB Hospital. Also used as a filming location for multiple productions.

Enjoy a cozy and clean relaxing visit at, "Ann's Place!" Fully refreshed this year with new amenities, linens, bedding inside and outside. The outside has great off street parking along with a sitting area. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood or a stroll down to the river. The Rock River is located two blocks from Ann's Place along with a playground for littles to run. Hairy Cow Brewing is located along the Rock River and just a 5 minute walk from Ann's Place. No pets allowed.
