From there, you can take Hwy. 212 up to the Beartooth Highway, for an exhilarating drive to elevations over 10,000 feet. The views are breathtaking! You'll reach Cooke City and Silvergate and can drive from there into Yellowstone National Park.

Real 4WD is recommended especially for mud (ruts/slippery) and snow drifts/ ice(might need chains)on hill .
