Farm Cottage for a escape to the country

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

Dairy cottage is in the forest, on a 1.3 acre garden and we live nearby. This peaceful very rural location down little country lanes is 1000ft above sea level. The cottage is 100% pet friendly. The garden is fenced and completely private. It has a patio area with a table and seating with a BBQ/fire pit. The area is renowned for its peace and tranquility offering a quiet, relaxing break with all the mod cons. Beaches within 40 mins and local shop 15mins away. Main shopping centre 30mins away.

Whatever brings you to the town, our place is ideal for those wanting to make the most of nearby attractions such as: Waterfall country (exactly 1 mile away), Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Pen-Y-Fan, Dan Yr Ogof caves, Penderyn Distillery etc. Dog-friendly with free on site parking for two cars, plenty of local amenities within walking distance such as the Co-op convenience & various takeaway outlets.

Staying here allows families and couples to explore and take in the famous sites of our spectacular welsh heritage by foot, bicycle, motorbike or car. Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Aberdar is perfect for getting away from it all and provides a great base for walking, bird watching or exploring the picturesque counties of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

The living area is spacious, yet cosy, with a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Large bedroom with a king size bed and a stylish bathroom with shower. Guests have sole use of a sunny south-west facing terrace enjoying grand views across the Sawdde Valley.
